Dr Jordi Espluga

Representative of CDTI to Singapore

Jordi was appointed representative of the Spanish agency Center for Industrial Technology Development or CDTI (a public funding agency under the Spanish ministry of Science and Innovation) to Singapore and Taiwan in 2022 with the aim of promoting cooperation in Science and Technology with these two countries. Jordi is a resident in South Korea since 2000 as a representative of CDTI, as a member of the Embassy of Spain with the position of counsellor in Science and Technology. Jordi is also advisor to the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in South Korea, and a point of contact for the Korean agencies KIAT, KETEP and IITP, with which joint Research & Development calls are announced on regular basis. Jordi holds a Ph.D. in economics, specialty in international trade from the faculty of international relations at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, a master´s degree in business administration (MBA) from Yonsei University, and a master and bachelor´s degree in Computer science from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya.
